Tekken for Wii U is based off PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360′s Tekken 6, a new developer diary featuring series director Katsuhiro Harada has revealed. Marking the first time a Tekken game appears on a Nintendo home platform in its sixteen year history, it promises multiple new features, including: the ability to tag (draw) on your own character’s or your opponent character’s face, edit and upload stages, and make use of dual screens.
Whatever you draw on your opponents face may stay there for up to a year, if they lose the match against you. If your uploaded stage is downloaded many times, you’ll be rewarded with in-game currency, which you can use to purchase customized items, such as hats and shirt.
